FILM 232 - Production: Light/Cam/Sound

A project for Hope Landing.

Last year in January (2014), my mother was diagnosed with skin cancer(Melanoma) for the second time. It's been a very long, hard year for her with treatments, so my family and I decided to get together and make a little video of encouragement to her favorite song, "Shake it Off" by my favorite artist, Taylor Swift, whose mother is going through a similar situation. Here is encouragement for both of them. Design III: Time. We had to create an environment based on a piece of sound, so I chose the guitar solo from a song written by my boyfriend and created a video inspired by it. I then set the video up on a projector and had people sit in front of it, pretending like they were in a car. The only rule was someone always had to be in the driver's seat. The message I was trying to convey to them was: Don't Drink and Drive.
